After seven years in Brazil, dancer Mia Stallworth comes home to the Hill District. The lights are up, but the landmarks are missing. Chasing the taste of a beloved pound cake, she embarks on a heartfelt quest to revive what gentrification tried to erase—one memory, one block, one dance at a time.

Mia Stallworth is an African American 30 year old dancer living in Brazil. She has been away for 7 years. This year she is coming back home to Pittsburgh's Hill District for Christmas and to stay. Things are different when she gets home. Mia has been thinking of getting her favorite holiday pound cake from a neighborhood bakery.
