Musical Synopsis

Mia (Mee-AH) Stallworth is an African American 30 year old dancer living in Brazil. She has been away for 7 years. This year she is coming back home to Pittsburgh's Hill District for Christmas and to stay. Things are different when she gets home. Mia has been thinking of getting her favorite holiday pound cake from a neighborhood bakery. The bakery and many of her favorite places are gone due to gentrification. Mia is on a journey to visit old memories and restore cultural history.
