Spirit, Mind, and Body Summer Intensives

Hill Dance Academy Theatre offers various Summer Intensives designed to suit your dancer's schedule and lifestyle. We welcome students aged 5 to 18 in our summer intensives. Our intensives will keep your child engaged, build their character and self-confidence, teach discipline,  and provide a holistic experience. Our faculty and guest artists are well-trained and highly skilled to bring the world of dance to each student in the way only Hill Dance Academy Theatre can.

Dance Starts Here Summer Intensive

Designed for students ages 5&6

Dates: June 24 - August 2, 2024 (Off July 4 and 5)

Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

$2,500 for the 6-week Summer Intensive

The Dance Starts Here Summer Intensive program is designed for students ages five and six. Our program focuses on engaging children with creative play, dance, and STEAM activities to ensure they are well-prepared for the upcoming school year. We have partnered with community organizations such as the Citizen's Learning Lab to help bring education to our students in a fun and engaging way.

Tuition for the Dance Starts Here Summer Intensive is a total of $2,500​

Tuition Plans are available

  • $100 due when you pre-register

  • $600 due May 15, 2024

  • $600 due May 30, 2024

  • $600 due June 15, 2024

  • $600 due June 30, 2024

Hill Dance Academy Theatre has a limited number of partial scholarships for the 2024 Summer Intensives.  Click here to apply for a summer intensive scholarship.  All applications are due May 28, 2024, and Hill Dance Academy Theatre will notify scholarship recipients the week of June 2, 2024.

Please note that a non-refundable $100 placement fee is charged to hold your place for the summer intensive. This fee is paid when you fill out your registration form.

Spirit, Mind, and Body Intensive

Designed for students ages 7 - 18

Dates: June 24 - August 2, 2024 (Off July 4 and 5)

Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

$2,500 for the 6-week Summer Intensive

For students who have a serious passion for dance, the Spirit, Mind, and Body Summer Intensive offers a holistic approach to the discipline of Dance. The program provides training in various dance styles, including Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, and more. It also includes leadership and discipline classes and a range of electives in photography, costuming, and make-up design, to name a few. The Spirit, Mind, and Body Summer Intensive is designed to nurture not only the body but also the spirit and mind.

Technique 1-Week Intensives

Designed for students ages 12 - 18

Ballet Intensive: June 24-28, 2024

Jazz Intensive: July 8-12, 2024

Horton Intensive: July 22-26, 2024

Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30pm

$750 per 1-Week Intensive

These intensives are for students who have a true passion for dance but cannot commit to a complete six-week Program. Each intensive is designed around a specific genre of Dance. The morning sessions consist of classes in Ballet, Horton, or Jazz, while in the afternoon sessions, participants will learn rep and other techniques to help strengthen their dance aptitude

Please note there is a non-refundable $50 placement fee to hold your place for each 1-week.
